slightly interesting music, but unrelentingly prosaic and idiosyncratically whimsical to the point you want to crawl out of your skin. It's like a shot of something really intense, you need a chaser between, not a whole set of this.

I've got nearly the entire show. Camera crapped out around the 1 hour mark and I got it turned back on for the rest of the evening shortly after.

Just FYI, U V Hippo makes a point of playing a different set list with no repeats every show, ensuring that every U V Hippo show will be a different experience. I don't know if they always do it three nights running, but they try not to repeat any song two nights in a row. They make every show unique by always having a different member write the set list. If you collect those, try asking if you've got a Joe list, a Casey list, a Brian list, a Dave list, or a Russ list - it's kind of like baseball cards ; )

Is that Bear Creek? Hoping I might make it down there for that one. Definitely check out Strange Arrangement playing down there. They're a bit north of me in Chicago, and are a hugely talented young group of guys. You won't be disappointed.

Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk is seriously so energized on stage, I completely agree!! Man a full two hours, that must have been a blast! Can't wait to see them at Live Oak in FL! :)
